Doug Diny meeting a voter at the door

The pictures a campaign actually runs on

Headshots that don't look like headshots. Doors, job sites, council chambers and election day, shot the way they really happened — then handed back fast enough to use this week.

What we shoot

A campaign photo has one job: to make a stranger believe you belong in the room you're asking to enter.

So we don't shoot you against a backdrop and call it a day. We shoot the district — your street, your city hall, the job site you keep bringing up — and we shoot enough of it in one morning to carry a mailer, a website, a month of posts and the ad that runs the week before the election.

One morning, one candidate

Yauo Yang, Wausau School Board

Yauo Yang downtown Yauo Yang portrait

Two and a half hours downtown in February. Steps, brick, the square, a veteran's cap he wears anyway — eleven usable looks, no studio, no rented gear.

That set ran the entire race: the mailer, the site, every post, and the ad that closed it out at 8,231 votes — the most in the history of the seat.

How a shoot goes

Three hours, start to finish

No hair and makeup call sheet. We meet you where the pictures need to be taken.

1

The walk-through

A phone call about the race and the district. We pick three or four locations that say something true about you, and a shot list that covers every place a photo has to go.

2

The morning

One photographer, natural light, no crew standing around. We move fast, we keep you talking, and the pictures stop looking posed about ten minutes in.

3

The gallery

Edited and delivered within the week, cropped for every place you'll use them, and loaded straight into your site and email if we're building those too.

Get on the calendar.

Tell us the race and the filing date. We'll tell you what a morning gets you.
